Charter School Growth Fund
CSGF has supported a portfolio of the nation’s leading public charter school networks since 2005. They target charter schools and networks typically operating in underserved communities, leaders of color and innovative models.
The Charter School Growth Fund is looking to support educational leaders and entrepreneurs who want to grow their high-performing public charter schools. Early-stage growth is supported through the Seed strategy, while later-stage expansion is funded through our Scale strategy. Schools and networks growing to serve 250 to 1,000 additional students in the next two years are eligible for Seed Funding. Seed awards are general operating grants of between $250,000 and $600,000 disbursed over a two- to three-year period. Portfolio schools also have access to the CSGF Facility Financing Fund that supports the development of a school facility strategy and provides facility financing.
