The three crosswalk documents were created to illustrate the common components required for school design by three charter school authorizers (Alameda County of California (Public), Osprey Wilds (Private) and Albuquerque Public Schools of New Mexico (Public). The components of the school opening checklists (or similar document) are broken into three component areas – Academic, Financial and Operational. Each crosswalk includes the components required by the individual authorizer and then compiles the commonly requested considerations into the final column. These documents can be used as a resource when completing asset mapping – examining for what type of skill sets will be useful among: school design teams, Curriculum design teams and Governing Boards/Councils.
